Thank you for your interest in our ministry. We would love for you to read our recent update and know more about us.
July 2014
Dear Prayer Partners,
After 11 months of full-time traveling, Sarah and I are still having a great time on deputation! I think the most encouraging thing has been to meet people who have a genuine interest and burden for our ministry in Hungary. We always appreciate getting emails from people who are praying for us. Thank you!
New Supporters
Praise the Lord, we had two churches take us on a few weeks ago. Most churches do not vote on missions finances during the summer months, so that was a great encouragement to us. We are at 33%, now, with 16 supporting churches. We are still praying for 50% by the end of the summer.
Family Camp
One of the highlights of the ministry in Hungary is Family Camp. The three Baptist World Mission churches there are gathering this week for fellowship and preaching. Mihály, an evangelist from Romania, is doing an excellent job. Gedeon’s son, David, is preaching to the youth twice a day and Yoli is teaching a ladies’ Bible study one day. Please pray for them as God uses His word to change lives.
Young Missionaries
Those of you who have seen our video may remember Zoli, the young man who was translating for me. He and his wife, Johanna, are expecting their first child this month. They are also in the process of raising support for their church-planting ministry in the 3rd district of Budapest. Pray for this young couple that God will provide for them financially and that He will use their lives greatly. If you would like to send Zoli a note of encouragement, or a financial gift, just send me an email at mfrueh@baptistworldmission.org, and I can get you his contact information.
Wedding Bells
We are excited that Sarah’s brother, Paul, was engaged a few weeks ago to a young lady from Ireland. They are planning a wedding in March. Also, Gedeon’s daughter, Ramona, will be getting married in March. Sarah and I are looking forward to traveling to Ireland and Hungary next year. It will be good to see the people at Lighthouse Baptist Church again!
Thank you all for praying for our ministry. We need that very much. Satan is a roaring lion and wants to devour us before we ever get to Hungary. Sarah and I are so thankful that God gives us His grace and that He has used us already as we minister on deputation.
God bless you!
